Terms of Service

AI Video Maker provides a mobile application that allows you to create AI-generated content from text prompts — including videos, and additional creation modes (such as text to image, image to video, and upscaling) planned for future releases. The Service uses one or more third-party AI providers (currently including Grok Imagine by xAI, with more to be added) and RevenueCat for in-app purchase processing via the Apple App Store. A community feed allows users to discover and share publicly published content.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App, consistent with its App Store age rating. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow users under 17 to create accounts; if we learn that a user is under 17 we will terminate their account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• •Generate, upload, or publish content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
• •Create content depicting or promoting terrorism, extremism, or mass violence;
• •Generate, share, or attempt to generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; such activity will be reported to law enforcement;
• •Create content that constitutes hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation;
• •Share non-consensual intimate imagery;
• •Infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
• •Use automated means to circumvent usage limits or abuse credits;
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code of the App (except as permitted by law);
• •Resell or commercially exploit the Service or generated content without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or permanently ban any account without notice for violations. Suspended users forfeit any unused credits without refund.

The App includes a Community feed where users may publish videos for all other users to view. By publishing a video to the Community feed you:

• •Represent that the content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws;
• •Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute the content within the App;
• •Acknowledge that the content is visible to all authenticated app users;
• •Understand that we may remove the content at any time if it violates these Terms.

You can make a video private at any time from the video detail screen. Private videos are only visible to you.

Users may report community videos that violate these Terms using the report button (flag icon) on the video detail screen. We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content and banning users. Submitting false or malicious reports is prohibited.

The App uses a credit system. You receive 10 free credits on registration. Additional credits can be purchased via the Apple App Store. Credit costs per video:

• •6 seconds · 480p — 10 credits
• •6 seconds · 720p HD — 20 credits
• •10 seconds · 480p — 20 credits
• •10 seconds · 720p HD — 30 credits

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly. Credits are non-refundable once consumed or upon account suspension for policy violations.

AI-generated content may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for all purposes. You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit and for how you use and share any generated content. We do not guarantee that generated content will be free of errors, copyright issues, or other problems.

Prompt content is filtered for known prohibited keywords before submission to the AI provider. However, automated filters are not perfect; if you encounter policy-violating content in the community feed, please report it.

The App, its branding, and our proprietary technology are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the prompts and any content you create. By using the Service you grant us the rights necessary to operate it (storage, processing, display, use of third-party AI services as described in our Privacy Policy).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination your right to use the Service ceases. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are in the EU or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
