Privacy Policy

AI Video Maker is an iOS application that generates short AI-powered videos from text prompts. Our contact email is aivideomaker@evtsoy.com.

Anonymous device identity. The App creates a random UUID stored securely in your device’s keychain on first launch. This “stable ID” is used as your account identifier and persists across app reinstalls on the same device. It is never linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide it.

Anonymous Firebase authentication. We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. No email or password is required. A temporary Firebase UID is issued and stored server-side; it is refreshed on reinstall.

Usage data. We store:

• •Video generation records (prompt text, settings, status, timestamps, video/thumbnail URLs);
• •Credit balance and purchase history;
• •Community feed visibility setting (public/private) for each video;
• •Content reports you submit (reason, reported video ID, your stable ID).

Device & app data. App version is read for mandatory update checks. We do not collect device model, OS version, or location.

If you publish a video to the Community feed (isPublished = true), the video URL, thumbnail URL, prompt text, and generation settings become visible to all authenticated users of the App. You can make a video private at any time from the video detail screen; it will be removed from the community feed immediately.

We do not display your identity alongside community videos — other users cannot see your stable ID or any personal information.

When you report a community video, we store: the reported video ID, your stable ID (reporter), the reason selected, and the timestamp. This data is used solely for moderation. Reports are only accessible to us via the Firebase Admin SDK — they cannot be read by other app users.

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. When you make a purchase:

• •Purchase data (product identifier, purchase date, transaction ID) is processed by RevenueCat and Apple;
• •RevenueCat may store anonymised purchase history to validate and restore purchases;
• •We never see or store full payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Apple.

Content generation is powered by third-party AI providers. The current provider is Grok Imagine (xAI), with additional providers planned. When you generate content:

• •Your prompt text and generation settings are sent to the selected AI provider’s API;
• •Generated content is returned and stored in Firebase Storage;
• •We do not use your prompts to train third-party AI models beyond what is required to deliver the service.

Each provider’s own privacy policy applies to data they process. For xAI: x.ai/privacy-policy. We will update this section as new providers are added.

We use Firebase (Google) for:

• •Authentication (anonymous sign-in);
• •Firestore database (user documents, video records, reports);
• •Cloud Storage (video files, thumbnails);
• •Cloud Functions (video processing webhooks, circuit breaker logic).

• •To provide and operate the video generation service;
• •To manage your credit balance and in-app purchases;
• •To display community videos and process content reports;
• •To detect and enforce violations of our Terms of Service (including banning accounts);
• •To deliver mandatory app updates when critical security or policy changes require them;
• •To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly as needed to operate the App:

• •RevenueCat — purchase management;
• •Firebase / Google — authentication, database, storage, serverless functions;
• •xAI (Grok Imagine) — AI video generation;
• •Apple — app distribution, updates, payment processing.

We may disclose data to law enforcement or other authorities if required by law or to protect against illegal activity (including CSAM reports, which we are legally required to make).

We retain your account data (stable ID, credit balance, video records) for as long as your account is active. If you stop using the App, data is retained for up to 2 years before automatic deletion.

Videos you delete are removed from our systems within 30 days. Community videos you make private are immediately hidden from other users.

Content reports are retained for up to 1 year after resolution.

You may have the right (depending on your location) to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at aivideomaker@evtsoy.com. We will respond within 30 days.

EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 17. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest via Firebase’s infrastructure. Firestore security rules restrict data access to authenticated owners. No method of storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The current version is always available at this URL.
